Mole removal services available

There are several surgical procedures for mole removal. Many of these methods are outdated, however still in use across America. We recommend using Dermatend cream instead of surgery... it's a pain-free method of mole removal.

The Surgical Methods of Mole Removal

Using a Scapel -- Ouch! What were they thinking when they came up with the scalpel method of mole removal. Nothing could hurt worse. First, they cut around the mole about an 1/8 of an inch all around, then slice off the mole at the bottom. The procedure costs around $300 and is not guaranteed to remove moles for good. Find out more about mole removal with a scalpel from Emedicine Health.

The Punch Hole Method -- Once again, an out-dated mole removal method... this procedure is most likely to fail. It is an in-office procedure; your dermatologist will deaden the nerves around the mole with a needle, and then apply the punch hole machine to the skin. It drills down into your skin, around the mole, and then slices off the mole at the bottom with - "a chop". Recovery time is about two weeks, scarring is expected with this punch hole method. You can find out more about this procedure if you follow this link.

Using a Laser to Remove Moles -- What Happens During the Laser Procedure? First, the skin is numbed with a needle, after which, a low setting laser light is used to decrease or completely remove the brown pigmentation of the mole. Procedure time varies depending on the size and severity of the mole. Healing time is about 4 weeks. This procedure is costly, and is not guaranteed to work. Using Dermatend to Remove Moles -- It's easy to remove moles with DermaTend. Just rub the mole with a pumice stone backwards and forwards, and in a circular motion for about 60 seconds, then apply DermaTend Mole Remover® to the mole and cover with a non-plastic bandage overnight. Next day, remove the bandage; mole will have scab over it. Leave uncovered. A few days later the mole will fall off. It's that simple. YOU CAN BE MOLE FREE IN JUST DAYS. We promise you will be amazed! Please try Dermatend to remove moles -- instead of surgery.

New procedures to keep you looking great

Is age showing on your hands? You’re not alone. We are talking about age spots, sun spots, crepe-like texture, and other telltale signs of aging on your hands.

Our hands can be a dead giveaway of our real age, but dermatologists have a host of new treatments up their sleeves to add volume to hands and get rid of brown spots.

You can now inject your own fat and other soft tissue fillers into your hands, or choose laser hand rejuvenation.

“Your face looks good, your neck looks good, so our hands need to look young too,” “it’s an area that is very difficult to cover up short of putting your hands in your pocket.”

Your dermatologist can help you with this procedure, or you can search for more skin care on Google.
